The funnel

Three things a plain funnel cannot tell you

Your own numbers are half an answer. The other half is what good looks like.Your own numbers are only half an answer. The other half is what good looks like.

Benchmark bands per industry

Each step's conversion is placed in a low, average or high band for your vertical. There are eleven, resolved from the industry you set. A 2.1% click-through is excellent in one and poor in another, and you should not have to remember which.

Drill down to the campaign

The detailed view opens the whole funnel per campaign: one ribbon each, running the width of the chart, so you can see which campaign pinches at which step and which stays wide the whole way down. The campaign that looks fine on spend and terrible on qualified rate has nowhere to hide.

Stages gated on real connections

A step whose source is not connected is marked as such rather than drawn at zero. The funnel never implies you lost traffic you simply were not measuring.

Find the step below its band

Funnels narrow, so the smallest number is not the problem. The step below what your industry manages is the one costing you leads.Funnels always narrow, so the smallest number tells you nothing. The step whose conversion sits below what your industry manages is the one costing you leads.

Questions

The funnel, in detail

Where do the benchmarks come from?

Industry-level conversion ranges across eleven verticals, applied by the industry configured for your account. They are bands rather than single targets, because a step that is merely average is a different conversation from one that is broken.

What does the funnel end on?

It depends on what your brand is for. A lead-generation brand ends on qualified leads, meaning a human said this one is real. A purchase-mode brand ends on sales from your analytics data.

Which sources feed it?

Impressions and clicks come from your connected ad accounts, sessions from Google Analytics 4, and leads and qualified counts from Airdec itself. Where a source is missing, the stage says so.

Is the detailed view live data?

Yes. Campaign-level ribbons and the metrics table both read the same live aggregates as the summary, so the two views cannot tell different stories about the same period.
